Marley here again! Are all you dogs getting excited for Thanksgiving? Think of all those drumsticks! Wow, I can hardly wait that long to Gobble Gobble!! Just the smell when my Mom cooks the turkey gets my nose going! It is such a fun day because everyone just likes to eat, and that is what we dogs like to do best. But don't forget to get your exercise as well after all that Turkey!
Twas the night of Thanksgiving, but I just couldn't sleep. I tried counting backwards, I tried counting sheep. The leftovers beckoned, the dark meat and white, but I fought the temptation with all of my might. Tossing and turning on my BioMedic Memory Foam Bed
with anticipation, the thought of a snack became infatuation. So, I raced to the kitchen, to sniff out the floor to see if that was all the turkey or if there was more. I felt myself swelling so plump and so round, 'til all of a sudden, I rose off of the ground. I crashed through the ceiling, floating into the sky, with a mounthful of pumpkin and a pawful of pie. But, I managed to bark as I soared past the trees...Happy Eating You Dogs - Pass the Cranberries, Please. May your stuffing be tasty, May your turkey be plump. May your potatoes 'n gravy not go to your rump. May your yams be delicious. May your pies be tasty. Keep that Thanksgiving Dinner off of your thighs and don't let your plate be bigger than your eyes!!! Yappy Thanksgiving to All You Dogs!

Dog Collars Express Personality!
Dogs, are we all ready to express our very own personality in the collar or collars we wear? Dog collars are like necklaces are to humans. There are so many to choose from that it gets very confusing. They come in all different sizes, styles, colors etc. Some have jewels, studs, spikes, animal prints, metallic, leather, & more, but I know what I like! We, dogs, have our own taste and want to be proud of the collars we choose. We want other dogs to sit-up and notice us. We aren't that much different than humans really! A woman or man would choose a necklace that they would be proud to wear and that people would notice or comment about. A dog is no different! Dogs love getting compliments! We just wag our tails to say "thank you for noticing."
I have been wanting a new collar and have been looking through all the possibilities. It would be fun to have a special collar for Halloween and for Christmas. There are several cute ones to choose from. I think I would like the Pumpkin collar for Halloween
and maybe the Wreath collar for Christmas.
But for my every day collar I think I like something a little glitzy! I may choose the Jewel Croc Leather Collar in pink
since I am a girl you know! If you're a girl, you need to show that femine side! I think my owner can even get a leash to match the collar. I have been torn because I also love the animal print collars, especially the Leopard or Tiger
because they would match my fur coat best. See what I mean, there are just too many to choose from! What is a dog to do?
Always make sure the collar fits your dog well. I just hate it if my collars get too tight! It is like wearing a choker necklace, and you just can't breathe. Look for the sizing chart that is always available.
Well, need to get with my day! Hope your dog gets lots of compliments on their collars! I enjoy compliments! They make me feel all warm & fuzzy inside & out!
Until next time, Bow Wow!!

I am Dog Gone Angry!!
Where do I start? I am so angry and upset by the news of Michael Vick returning to the NFL to play football! What are humans thinking? Playing in the NFL is an honor and privilege! Why would humans be honoring a man who torchured and killed my innocent furry friends with his own hands? If he had done this to a human, I know he would have been punished in a more severe way, and there is no way this man would be allowed to play football for the NFL!
Dogs are nothing but loyal and faithful to humans, and this is how they are treated? How inhumane can it get? Why are humans letting this man get by with this cruelty and unfeeling for a life?
Watching Michael Vick interviewed the other night on TV, sickened me! Humans are giving this man much too much press, and once again making him a Millionaire! He should be giving the salary he makes from playing football to the Humane Society to help my furry friends, if he is sincere about what he did to all those helpless dogs! Do you really believe Michael Vick is sincerely sorry for what he did to my furry friends? Because I believe he is only sorry that he got caught! Oh, don't get me wrong, I do believe humans should give people a second chance as we, dogs have always done! Dogs are the most forgiving species on earth! But in this case, it is like letting a human off for performing mass murders with their own hands. It is easy to get on TV and say you are sorry, but very difficult to mean it!
I don't care if Michael Vick is the greatest football player on this earth, my furry friends and I don't think he should be given that honor or opportunity to play football ever again in the NFL. There are certainly a lot of other good, talented, upstanding, people who play football, and would love and deserve the honor to play football in the NFL!
So take a stand if you humans have any conscience at all! Stop the Dog Fighting rings! Make your voices heard and stop Michael Vick from returning to the NFL! To allow him back in the NFL is sending the wrong message to kids today! We, dogs, love humans unconditionally, and want nothing more than to be treated humanely and loved in return!
Bow Wow! Until next time!

Marley's Dog Days of Summer!
Marley says "It is Hot in Arizona this summer!" I am really looking forward to it cooling off, but that probably won't happen until Oct. at the earliest so my parents tell me. I am just a puppy and this has been my first summer experience in Arizona. My Dad has to take me for a walk around 4:30 or 5 A.M. every morning before it gets too hot! I need my exercise! You know you should never take a dog out for a walk here during the day because they might get heatstroke, burn their pads or just get plain sick! Always allow your dog to rest and make sure they get plenty of water! I hope your parents take good care of you dogs like mine do! My parents never take me in the car unless they need to in the summer, and would never leave me in the heated car. A dog could die from the heat! In the summer heat temperatures in a car can rise to 120 degrees or more!
Symptoms of a heatstroke in a dog include increased heart rate, labored breathing, weakness and even seizures and coma. If you suspect your dog is on the verge of heatstroke, cool him down quickly with water or cover him with wet towels. Then head to the Vet! The earlier a heatstroke is treated the more likely your dog will recover.
Ask your parents to help protect your eyes from the sun by buying you Doggles. They are great and help protect your eyes from the elements. They come in such fun styles and many different sizes! I love mine! I guess it sounds like I am a little spoiled, but what can a dog do?
I enjoy going outside and lying in the sun during the day, but my parents won't let me stay out too long either which sometimes gets on my nerves, but I guess they know what is best for me. It just doesn't give me much time to chase those lizards (or lizzies as we call them). Shade can help keep a dog cool, but not really that much in the Dog Days of Summer in Arizona. Air conditioning and fans can really help to cool you down.
I do love water, and love to be misted with the water from the hose. I run through the sprinklers as often as I can and I have a kiddie pool that really cools me down too. My parents want to get a real pool, and that will really be fun for me. I can't wait! I even enjoy my baths outside now! I do tend to get a little rambunctious when I get wet!
One of my favorite things is the Kool Dogz Ice Treat Maker! That can cool a dog down really well! I love ice!! You might want to consider getting one of these for your dog! What a great treat!
Well, I am a little exhausted from the heat so I best go take a nap! Until next time, chill out! Bow Wow!

My First Halloween!
It is only the end of July, and I am getting so excited for my first Halloween! I've been told that it is such a Fun time for all Doggies. I get so comfused because my family has been working the whole month of July on their Christmas in July Furniture Sale at www.ILikeFurniture.com. I thought Christmas was in December? Oh well, I guess I am learning a lot! There is just so much to learn in your first year of life!
I have been told, that Halloween is sure to be one of the best times I will have with dressing up in costumes, and trick or treating. I suppose my family will want to take pictures of me too! Oh no! I just hate having my picture taken! The sight of a camera coming my direction gets my mohawk up! I guess I better just chill and try to go along with it. Afterall, I do love my family and they love me, that is why they want pictures of me around. I think they like to show me off to everyone they know!
I am trying to make up my mind what I would like to be for Halloween. We have a great selection of Halloween Costumes, Shirts, Hoodies, Collars & Toys in our store. I can tell you though that you have to shop early to make sure you get what you want and get it on time. One of our manufacturers only ships Aug. 15th & Sept. 1st. I am such a procrasinator, but my family has been trying to convince me that if I see a costume I really like that I should buy it now or it might be gone! They are so organized & prepared! I am a dog & have to learn these things, but my owners are very good at teaching me.
My Mom thinks I should be a pumpkin for Halloween, but I really want to be a Dogzilla Dinosaur! I think that would be so cool!
If I'm real good, my Dad said I could have the Halloween Plush toys which include a pumpkin, ghost and candy corn squeaky toys. They are so much fun and I promised I would not tear them apart if I get them. I just love watching my Mom sew up toys! She is so good at it, and it just fasinates me. But I guess I will try to be good and take care of them.
Well, I best go get some rest! A dogs life can be really tiring! Maybe I will dream about Halloween! Until next time, Bow Wow!!

Marley's Time of Relaxation!
I really love having a place to call my own! I like being to be able to get away from everyone when I so desire! A separate home for your dog really gives him or her the ability to be able to have some privacy and relaxation away from the turmoil of their family! In the Arizona heat a dog needs some protection!
Your dog's home should do more than just protect him / her from the elements. A dog house should keep your dog warm in winter and cool in the summer. It should be durable and flexible enough to withstand extreme weather conditions without cracking or fading, and strong enough to withstand impact. Of course, an ideal dog home is also easy to assemble, easy to clean and an attractive addition to your yard. All Weather Insulated Dog Homes offer all of these and more - without breaking the bank! Multi-layer Panel Construction Unlike other plastic dog houses, which are made with a single thin layer of plastic, these unique dog homes feature an innovative multi-layer panel construction that creates insulation, flexibility and superior durability. Large door openings allows for better air flow for warmer climates. You want a Dog Home that is made to last and look great for years!
Another choice of Dog houses on the market are the wooden ones which are usually attractive. Wood construction is built with sturdiness and durability. Wood is Kiln Dried and Treated with Natural Color Stains to Enhance the Appearance and Durability of the Dog House. Stable Cellular Structure of Wood Allows the Dog House to withstand Humidity and Extreme Temperatures. Natural Scent of Wood Creates a Calming and Pleasant Atmosphere. Natural Insulating Feature of Wood keeps your Dog warm in the winter and cool in the summer.
The eco friendly dog houses are manufactured of green products. There are even indoor dog houses verses a dog crate. So there are many choices when shopping for Dog Houses.
Some tips for choosing the right size Dog House:
The door height of the house should be at least ¾ of your pet’s shoulder height (from the ground to the neck).
The length and width of the house should be at least equal to but not more than 25% larger than the distance between the nose and the root of the tail.
The height of the house should be at least 25% taller and no higher than 50% the height of your standing pet.
You might want to consider getting your best furry friend a place of his or her own to hang out in! They deserve it! I get great pleasure out of hanging out in my own pad!
